For fursuit commissions

Reference sheets:

1. Client must have a ready to use reference sheet with these requirements:

   1. Full body view of side, back, and front

   2. View of any accessories

   3. NO SHADING

   4. Color pallet ready to use

   5. SFW 

      1. No genitals

      2. Gore is allowed if part of the design

2. IF client’s reference sheet does not fit these conditions, Starfurstudios will inform them and client has 3 options on how to proceed if they want the commission:

   1. Pay Starfurstudios 20$ USD to make one

   2. Let Starfurstudios take artistic liberty with any missing info

   3. Hire someone else to fix it/fix it yourself

Payment plans:

1. Client must pay at least 50% upfront

2. Payment plans are available with these methods:

   1. 50% upfront 15% each month until paid

   2. 50% upfront 20% each month until paid

   3. 75% upfront 25% before shipping

3. If client wishes for another payment plan, client is allowed to talk to Starfurstudios about it

   1. If Starfurstudios approves, it can be done

Refunds:

1. Downpayment is non-refundable

2. Clients are only allowed to ask for refunds during each payment’s 1 week refund period, although Starfurstudios will keep at least 30% as well as the downpayment, non-negotiable.

Tips:

1. Tips are appreciated, but not required. Starfurstudios will NEVER ask you for a tip.

2. Tips are 100% nonrefundable.

3. Tips cannot be used for favors, additional suit upgrades, or any sort of special treatment as a client. If a client tries to do this, Starfurstudios has full permission to cancel their order without a refund of any amount, and they will not receive any fursuit parts regardless of their completion status.

Age:

1. If a client is under 18, they must have another person above 18 to buy this for you, even if it’s with minor client’s money 

2. If a client is found to have lied about their age, their order will be cancelled without a refund of any amount, and they will not receive any fursuit parts regardless of their completion status.

Process, contact, and updates:

1. Client must contact Starfurstudios via discord (@nyxthefurryprotgen) or email (basics4furqanda@outlook)

2. Client must keep non commission related small talk to a minimum

   1. This includes

      1. Talking about something interesting client saw

      2. Conventions

      3. And other similar things

3. Clients may refer to Starfurstudios’ maker as Nyx and with he/they pronouns. Nyx is responsible for communication, making the fursuit and taking photos/videos.

4. If the client requests a change to their fursuit during the commission process outside of reasonable opportunities provided by Starfurstudios’s requests for feedback, or if they change their mind on something previously approved, they will be responsible for additional fees to cover labor and material costs. Changes to your commission may extend its deadline.

5. Starfurstudios will not fulfill requests to attempt to re-create another maker’s style, or to create fursuits of copyrighted characters.

6. Starfurstudios will send WIPs or reports at landmarks stages such as (but not limited to) materials shipped, patterned and furred

7. If the client persists in spamming, crossing boundaries, or harassing Starfurstudios, after 3 warnings, their order will be cancelled without a refund of any amount, and they will not receive any fursuit parts regardless of their completion status.

8. Client may request updates if Starfurstudios has not responded within 7 days

9. Not every progress report will involve photos although you can request it, it is up to Starfurstudios to decide whether to send or not.

10. Starfurstudios is not responsible for any misfits due to inaccurate sizing (or duct tape dummy) given

Deadline:

1. A deadline will be given once Starfurstudios has all materials at their workplace.

2. Deadline may not be 100% accurate due to may circumstances, that will be communicated as they happen

3. Rush fees are for now not available 

 Shipping:

1. The client is responsible for all fees associated with shipping, including but not limited to postage, adjustments, and insurance.

2. The client is responsible for paying the cost of shipping within 60 days of the commission’s completion. Late payments for shipping costs may incur a late fee.

3. The client is responsible for providing a complete and valid address.

4. Starfurstudios is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

5. Orders will be taken to the post office within 2 weeks after the final payment has been received, the commission is completed, and the fursuit has been cleaned.

Privacy policy:

1. Starfurstudios will not share any personal information with anyone else other than for tax and legal reasons.

2. Sensitive information includes legal names, addresses, email addresses, and more

3. Clients will not be tagged directly on any of Starfurstudios’s social media pages unless the client explicitly agrees to or requests it.

Miscellaneous:

1. Starfurstudios reserves the right to use photos of any fursuit we make on our websites, social media pages, or in advertisements or commercial projects.

2. Starfurstudios reserves the right to deny any person any services without explanation, and blacklist clients from future orders or services.

3. Starfurstudios may provide exceptions to any policies in our ToS on a case-by-case basis. These will always be discussed with the customer in advance.

4. The client must properly credit Starfurstudios with the creation of their fursuit when posting publicly online

5. If a client is discovered to have stolen the character design commissioned, their commission will be cancelled and the client will be blacklisted from any future sales or services. Any payments made will not be refunded and no pieces will be shipped, regardless of completion.
